Hello, hola, bonjour, and last but not least; WELCOME TO MY BLOG.
This is where I have chosen to express my ideas, thoughts, and work for all to view no matter what time it may be. Even though I was born in Texas, I have lived in Maryland my whole life and with that being said; I have grown to love the city. By only living 15 miles outside of Washington D.C. – I love visiting for no reason, the beautiful nightlife, or simply grabbing a cup of coffee and exploring new places. I transferred to Towson University from the University of St Thomas right between Minneapolis/St. Paul or what the Midwest knows it as “The Cities.” I absolutely loved St. Thomas as I had the wonderful opportunity to cheer for 2.5 years and travel with both the NCAA ranked football and the basketball team.
I am currently a senior majoring in mass communications track in journalism and new media. I plan on pursuing a career working for a major television news station, as both a multimedia journalist and TV Personality or in Media Relations. When you don’t find me being studious this semester, you can find me at Moore Law Group P.A., where I am working my second year as a Legal Assistant. I am currently interning at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Pharmacy as their web content writer. I am extremely determined and set my goals high because I’m not afraid of anything and am willing to try anything once. Not only is that my aspiration and goal in life, but I am extremely passionate about dance as I have danced for the past 17 years in which, I also plan on pursuing a professional dance career on either a NFL or NBA team.
Like many, other people living in this world, I live a gluten-free lifestyle because I have what most people know it as celiac disease. Having celiac disease has 100 percent changed me, but I’ve never felt more alive and being able to control what goes in my diet. I am a daughter to two wonderful, hardworking parents, an older sister that my younger brother looks up to, a loving girlfriend, and a wonderful friend.
With that being said, I am a huge lover of (gluten-free) cookies and drinking Vanilla Chai Tea Lattes (honestly, the best combination) — I am extremely outgoing, easy to get along with, and adventurous as I believe in the quote said by Oprah Winfrey, “The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.”
As a college student trying to balance an academic, social, and work life, I have found that treating yourself after a long day is the easiest way to not only relax you, but to give you that little bit of energy you were looking for. Baking and eating desserts are one of my biggest pastimes. Check out my other blog, Sylvia B.
If you continue to follow me throughout my blog, you will understand my different passions along with getting to read what I write. So sit back, relax, and work up your brain cells – It’s going to be a wonderful ride! Send me a Tweet. Please write me online! Connect with me on LinkedIn.
